Honestly, I wonder the same sometimes. It’s weird how many married people still look for attention or emotional validation elsewhere when they already have a partner.
Even if someone’s partner is flawed or the relationship is unhappy, getting emotionally involved with other people usually just creates more damage. At some point you either fix your relationship or leave it, dragging other people into it rarely ends well.
