Should a person be allowed to marry more than one person so that their children have parents?

This is a real debate going in in war torn parts of the world. The Muslim community is far more open to it than the Christian community is but I can see where they are coming from. This may become a necessity everywhere and not just for children but so that people without pensions or adequate savings can survive.

Nothing to do with religion or arranged marriages. But people should be allowed to contract their own cohabiting arrangements freely. The only reason for a contract at all is the protection of any offspring and distribution of assets. Love and caring is where you find it and no one elses business..😷

Getting married is a legal act. Why would you want the government's permission or blessing? If it's a spiritual act then just do the ceremony and enjoy it. It's none of the government's business.

Some parents even when are the biological parents are not good parents ..so kids must be cared is the bottom line rest is all formalities

This is nonsense argument.

People can still raise your kids without them having sex with you. Guardianship and all.

In a warzone, if it is actually a warzone..you aren't getting any pensions my dude.

Children can have mother and father figures and be raised alongside a nonparent without anyone having to be married in the process.

I don't understand the question.

They should do what is best for them with no interference from government.
