I wanted to bring up something I’ve observed and get some honest feedback from others, especially those who are married or currently engaged.

Over the years, during nights out at bars and clubs, I’ve occasionally witnessed behavior at bachelorette parties that genuinely surprised me. On more than a dozen occasions, I’ve seen brides-to-be engaging in explicit acts with random men—things like giving oral sex, hand stimulation right there in the club, or even leaving with someone after the night out.

These weren’t just isolated or subtle moments—they were out in the open and, frankly, quite shocking to witness, especially considering the context of celebrating an upcoming wedding.

Speaking for myself, I didn’t engage in anything like that before my wedding. I was raised in a strict household and always taught to carry myself a certain way. While I’m definitely not that “good girl” anymore, this trend has made me genuinely curious:

Is this kind of behavior more common than people admit during bachelorette parties nowadays?

For those of you who are married or engaged—what was your experience? Did things ever go further than expected during your bachelorette celebration, or have you seen others cross the line in similar situations?

This isn’t meant to judge anyone—I'm just trying to understand how norms and expectations around these events may have shifted.

I’ve been to several bachelorette parties and none of the brides or any of the women at the parties did anything wild. For one bachelor party we went to a strip club but that was the most risqué lol. We’ve done paint parties, we’ve gone to nightclubs, We’ve gone away for weekends, and even spa days
It’s not really a thing here to have a wild bachelorette party, I think it’s pretty tacky. I had a bridal shower high tea at a nice hotel. Not that I’m conservative or anything. Plenty of time for wild stuff before I got engaged, after that it’s just cheating.

@Notladylike True. A bachelor or bachelorette party doesn't have to be strippers and it doesn't have to involve sex for the groom. I am not sure what sort of douche bag the groomsmen would have to make to arrange something like that? I would say that in this case the bride got out while the getting was good.

You need to understand that you are old school brought up in a conservative society. But the evolution does not remain as what it was, as the world constantly evolves and let's nothing remain forever. Most Morals established in the past are all getting wiped out. Soon you shall witness the end of marriage system itself, since the subservient typecasting of girls, is no longer applicable. Sex is now being viewed like having a Coffee or Beer and no longer exclusive with the spouse.

Imagine yourself being enforced in a system where you only need to have a Coffee with your spouse and not anyone else. OR forced to use the restroom allocated for your at your home only and need to return home to relieve yourself and not use any restroom in public.

Yes, those brought up in a strict household, will find it very difficult to understand the cultural transition.

@in10RjFox No evidence hey, not to worry.

@Zeusdelight 🤣🤣 Don't participate in forums if you do not know how to talk sense .. The subject here is Behavioral Science. So talk only if you know anything about the subject. I haven't made any claim for evidence. And also know the difference between proof and evidence..
because you yourself do not know if you are asking for proof or evidence.

25 years ago, a friend of mine was at a nightclub where a group of women was busy with their bachelorette party.

He ended up leaving with the bride-to-be, and when they got to. his car, a guy followed them, the groom-to-be.

He left quick as the "couple" were arguing.

My opinion - If someone is still in raunchy party mode exhibiting that kind of behavior, they shouldn't be getting married.
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@LadyBronte is that what's called the 'hoe phase'? Do some women never go out of it?
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
No idea. I don't understand anyone who exhibits that behavior at any age.

I know of a married woman (wife of a workmate who share almost 10 yo kids together) who has been sleeping around with guys at another company since she jumped ship from where I (and her husband) work to the new place. The guy brags about 'finding skirt' when he goes away for work. She is ultra flirtatious around other guys showing her ass like it's an art installation.

It's not what I'd think is supposed to be normal behaviour by a married couple.
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@zonavar68 that is absolutely not normal behaviour. Sounds like she is either a sex addict or desperate for attention

I didn't have a bachelorette party. I don't regret not bothering, either.
Realifecuckold · 61-69, M
@HootyTheNightOwl My best man took me out for dinner, and a couple of glasses of scotch and some nice conversation. No hookers, no strippers, no hangers-on. I look back with thanks for a nice evening.

@RogueLodyte I think that only really weak men allow their emotions and their feelings, and especially their sexuality, to be shaped shaped by things like feminism. You can think whatever you want, but you seem to be angry, and frustrated, perhaps about something else?
