My mother just told me she feels distant from me after my marriage. I dont know what to do with that information

I too do not feell as close to my parents after my marriage. Its depressing

You are supposed to leave your parents and cleave to your spouse. They raised you to be an independent adult, their job is done, now to find a new identity with them as you learn to be dependent on your spouse.
