No one understands what Marriage is all about. Marriage is just not about having babies.

Even if a jihadist bIast himself, in between a public place of 200 people,
aIIah has promised him that he will get 72 more girlfriends in heaven .

The main purpose of marriage is to raise children. If people had that in mind they'd be choosing their partners carefully or wouldn't rush into marrying their crushes.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
That’s just not true. You’re only looking at the worst cases.

@WintaTheAngle I have no chance with Love...

@Hougal If it’s important to you, you won’t give up.

Well, there was the spiking divorce rates following the sexual revolution, and then, in my country at least, marriage was made into an official joke
Hougal · 31-35, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Why? Why this huge Gap between us and Old generation??
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
@Hougal it's like I was saying: the sexual revolution told us that consequences that are more than 5 minutes away aren't worth worry about. And duty? Pffft... duty-shmuty. Marriage is about duty and long-term consequences. So why do we even need it when we can have sex and children without bothering with "a piece of paper"
Hougal · 31-35, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP You said the truth!!! Right!
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
Because most people marry too early, people need to take time to get to know their person and then marry them, it’s simple but I guess not so simple..
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Baremine yes you are an exception as there are always exceptions I was speaking for most marriages
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Baremine also yes lack of commitment as well
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Moneyonmymind marriage is hard work. I remember back in 75 when we had been married almost 8 years and a friend of mine was over. He was going through a divorce.
My wife and I were arguing and he commented "Jo and I were married for 6 years and never had a fight."
My wife and I in unison replied " There is your problem, You didn't know each other."
People that are married have two brain controlling one machine. Arguments are how you get to know each other and melt into "The two shall become one."
My wife and my reply to our friend was in one voice at the same instance.
