How do you know if you're 'marriage material '?

What causes a person to believe that they have what it takes?

Very likely past experiences.

Realistically ask yourself: do you think you could get back into most of your previous relationships?

This is not fool proof. Yet nothing really is fool proof.

Yet if you really think you could with ALL your past relationships, then it's highly likely you're marriage material.

I'm referring to even those you have lived with. Not just dating.

@DeWayfarer I've never been married in any of my relationships - perhaps I'm just very commitment-phobic. I'm not religious either. My parents busting up when I was 12 then making it taboo to discuss is another big factor.

@zonavar68 I have had a lot of female roommates and girlfriends, all of them one at a time. There's only one that I wouldn't get back with. I don't believe anyone in their right mind would take that one back, if they knew what she did.

Only asked one to marry. She turned me down. Yet I would still take her and any of the others back.

My parents separated when I was a baby. I know the reason why though.

@DeWayfarer I've not had any experiences like that, so you've had a good run of luck there with women getting interested in you that much.
