In some ways, yes. About 70-80% of divorces are filed by women, often because she's bored. She will get custody of the children and huge property and cash assets from the divorce. He will get the bills and blame and may never see his children again. He also can get hit with child support for a kid that's not even his. She will get sympathy while the husband will get blame. There's lots of reasons men are simply saying no to marriage these days. Lots of guys have seen their brothers, fathers, uncles, etc destroyed in family court and want no part of it.

@graphite Settlements determined in courts ensure that childrens' interests are not compromised by their parents' dispute. Men who insist on viewing everything through the filter of "blame", "sympathy" and property rights, are unlikely to be the best judges of their childrens' interests.
