I think that people should only be allowed to marry twice. If you can't make marriage work after two attempts then it's not for you.

After two failed marriages people should accept they’re a loony that no fringe community would welcome 🙃

I actually have the authority to perform marriages. Years ago, a couple came to me and asked me to officiate at their marriage ceremony. He had been married four times, and she had been married three times. I declined their request, despite the offer of a significant fee that I could have used at the time. Some people never learn.

@exexec My uncle, for his first marriage, married a woman who had been married four times, as well. The results were not surprising.
