Yep. Friends for more than a decade. Never really dated or anything; just good friends. Then I needed a replacement on short notice to fill in for a date who bailed on me for an office party. She agreed to fill in. We both got drunk and wound up in bed. It was like our genitals finally caught up with our minds and hearts. Did it affect our friendship? Most definitely. Eloped a month later. Married for 43 years; soulmates forever.
