Alof of women cheat nowdays because they have more oppertunity to but have women passed men in cheating.

I think historically they would have. They just didn't have as many chances. They were often home with the children keeping house. Like you mentioned, opportunity. I believe that in the 50s and 60s when men cheated it was more often with married women than single ones.
