@PoetryNEmotion I have been friends with you a long time. On January 1st of this year, I married the love of my life… my wife. I am very sad that our marriage is not real to you. As if, we are just undeserving of the rights of marriage. I still wish you well, but I am so very sad right now.

@PoetryNEmotion When Australia had the same-sex marriage plebiscite there was a huge cultural debate about the term 'marriage'. I sort of agree with you as a man/man or woman/woman couple getting 'married' implies they will provide proper balanced relationship guidance to any children they might have (and especially because both of them cannot be the biological parents) and that's not possible in either of those situations.

@DarkHeaven I have expressed this opinion before as I shall again. You don't have to be sad. That is your choice. Why should my definition of marriage effect your life? We are more acquaintances then friends. I tell it as I see it. We do not have to agree.

@zonavar68 Has nothing to do with kids. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Anyone can twist the word nowadays. Some things cannot be. To me, marriage is one of them.

@PoetryNEmotion Marriage can be between anything and anyone...joining two pieces of metal together, I have heard some old people call that a 'marriage'....so, a long lasting union, like two pieces of pipe? Same as a man and a woman. Same as a woman and a woman. Same as a man and a man.
