Are you good at making new friends?

In real life I'm soooo shy/awkward at first. Once I get to know someone better I'm still awkward lol just not as shy. It's hard to find someone who will stick around through the shy part to get the real part though lol.

I push through my shyness and speak
but most of my life I hid behind a guitar
I actually asked my first wife to marry me with a song
now I am to old to worry about what other think
I just speak to everyone and someone always speaks back
many ready to have a conversation
my kids laugh ,
we were stuck in traffic at a wreck and people just walked up and started talking to me ,
but I am still kind of shy ,I just push past anything that causes me fear

No, I'm pretty horrible at it. The few times I actually tried, it didn't go well for me.
