Hi friends. If a guy gets asked what his most prized possession is and his answer is his wife/gf/significant other, how would you perceive that?

Because it can kinda be taken in two different ways. I guess even more than two if you look that deep into it, but still. Same if the genders were reversed but I feel it applies more with a guy saying it to a woman because of reasons I'm not sure how to explain right now.

@AngelPassion I will inquire about what it means. I don't think I will be dating anyone who is too possessive ever and it's his actions that will show me his true nature, not his words.
