There is really no set definition of love. Everyone feels it differently and expresses it differently which makes it highly subjective.
What is common is that this one person means more than anyone else and one is able to do for this person what they cannot for anyone else.
It is real. It is just not constant or even necessarily everlasting.

As real as freedom, justice, happiness or any of those others....so to answer your question, it really depends on how you define "real"

That is such an interesting question. Love is the connection that you never want to break, even if that would be the best thing for you.
