Personally, I like it if a man takes good care of himself, is articulate and responsible, has empathy, is exceptionally intelligent, and if we each find that the conversation is mutually interesting and enjoyable.
If we share mutual values, tastes, and interests, there's an excellent chance of success.
The biggest turn off is dishonesty.
Trying to impress is less appealing than simply being himself.
