Have you ever been betrayed by someone you never expected?

Its such a letdown. I invested a lot of myself in them and it makes me feel empty. I regret giving them so much of myself and trusting them.

Yeah. It made me feel a little silly to feel so betrayed because it wasn't the first time... I really trusted that they wouldn't do it again.

I'm okay now though. I think that maybe it was for the better.

@arcobaleno: well its a good feeling when you feel you can trust someone completely but you leave yourself vulnerable to getting hurt. You shouldn't feel silly for being betrayed. In the end you were loyal to them, they were the ones who did wrong.

@Thefightingangel: well, I'm not perfect either... vulnerability is the only way you'd be able to forge genuine relationships though. You can't connect to someone else while withholding a part of yourself.
