@ColleenOhara: Does this apply to rape and murder too?
@Dreammmer: Those are different.. of course not.

@ColleenOhara: Adultery destroys families and trust and wounds people severely. I don't see how adultery is different.
Race and murder are forced. @Dreammmer:

@Iamnolongerhere: True. Adultery also, hardly any spouse is asked and the breach of trust is a form of violence against a victim. It's a different form of violence, nonetheless I believe it's violence.
A broken promise isn't the same thing. There are of broken lots of ways to break promises as well. A person can divorce their spouse and still cause a great deal of hurt and resentment. In some cases that person may never marry again and may spend the rest of their life alone and may even lose their children (It happens). That can hurt to those that feel they have given many years of themselves to their spouse only for them be left to grow old alone and with maybe little left. @Dreammmer:
Look how easy it is to break a vow.@Dreammmer:

These are promises made by two people in a marriage vow. There isn't just one promise, @Dreammmer.
I believe you are placing sex above all aspects of a marriage.

@Iamnolongerhere: Adultery is much more than a broken promise and certainly not the same as being late for an appointment. No spouse who had to suffer adultery speaks about a broken promise, that's ridiculous. Its about breaking a heart and destroying trust. It's a really serious and vicious offense with lasting consequences. Your attempt to make it look insignificant and excusable only shows that marriage is insignificant to you. In Israel adultery was punished by the death penalty. It was on the same level as murder. How important and valuable is marriage in your eyes?
I live in the United States of America and I have a liberal ideology . No one and I mean nobody owns me. I love when I feel loved. It's similar to a family dynamic.@Dreammmer:
This is my house. I live here and if my husband weren't to be happy , he knows where the door is. A marriage isn't based on sex only.@Dreammmer:

@Iamnolongerhere: why do you reduce marriage to sex only? Whoever talked about sex only? So your marriage means nothing to you, your husband can leave whenever he wants to. It shows the importance and meaning of marriage for you. I believe marriage is way more important and valuable.

@Iamnolongerhere: looks like you have no idea of the damage and hurt caused by a divorce on all involved especially the children. This stupid osho philosophy is punch in the face of all who had to suffer from adultery and divorce.

@Iamnolongerhere: Nice. But irrelevant for the discussion here. Real life and real adultery does not care much about nice ideals, but how to handle life when it was shattered and bruised.
How is it irrelevant? @Dreammmer:
