Which is harder?

to say you dont love them because i have fear of getting an other heart broken

In my case...i can handle a heartbreak but I cannot bear the guilt of breaking someone else's heart. So the latter is difficult.

This is an interesting question. I would say telling someone I love them is harder. Because I have a major fear that if I told my crush that I loved her it would ruin our friendship.

I think both can be equally difficult.

That I love them. I mean, it sucks to tell someone that you don't love them, but I feel that spares them more pain in the long run. Telling someone I love them, however... With each year, I've become increasingly aware of my own fragility, and I'm not sure I could withstand someone answering that with rejection, or worse, ambivalence.
