How do you guys ever so know that you're ready for a commitment/marriage?

I want a long living happy commitment and healthy one. My friend is 30 and got married last month. I'm happy for her but I wish I had a long healthy happy relationship. She has been with her man for 6 years. My relationships never last because every guy says I'm too easy, never disagree and I sugarcoat to protect their feelings. My sister has a boyfriend and she is straightfoward and blunt but thoughtful.

just be honest and truthful. i like ladies that way. the truth hurts, but i'd rather have that than be backstabbed. i guess you really have to reflect on who you really are and then stick to that, no matter if you scare away guys in the process. at least you are honest to yourself and will not cause your self-esteem to go down.

@wave001211: Everyone wants to be hurt with the truth....

@MissNiceGirl: if it's the truth at least there's no contest. so it doesn't matter whether i will get hurt or not as long as it is truthful. for what it's worth, nothing is wrong with you. perhaps you haven't met the right one yet. i will pray for you and your happiness.

@wave001211: it seems when you tell the truth on this site, you are blocked

@Raffie: i'm new here so i'm still getting the hang of it. is that really the case? i mean i think we can tell the truth but using words that are not.. demeaning? i don't know if that made sense lol

@wave001211: you will find that very little truth is spoken here! Sorry to say that..the longer you engage here, the more you will know!
