Of course not; actually, it's a fundamental need, whilst there are those who might not agree. It's not beyond the realms of possibility to consider there might be those who literally do not want to be loved; there would be a reason for that which might not be understood by some :)

Not at all. it's wrong to settle down for what you think is love though. Valuing yourself allows you to find someone who values you. We've become so caught up in the feeling of finding love as opposed to actually being in love that we don't even realise it ourselves.
