What's a deal breaker for you on a date?

if they say that have to get back early before their husband gets home

People who can't communicate. Which sounds like a no brainer but a lot of people just can't. They can talk but they can't actually have a meaningful exchange. Anything that resorts to censorship or not being able to listen, I can't do that, because it becomes a waste of my time. I'm willing to be patient but if nothing come out of it then forget it.

Lack of manners or coming over 15 minutes late without a good excuse.

Hmmm ... lol, my list is probably longer than most (hence why I'm single), but here's a few...
- smoking and/or drugs (sorry, I can't deal)
- appearance (I promise to put in some effort, but I'd like it to be mutual)
- being late (sorry, I'm OCD on this one ... tell me whatever time you want, I don't care when, but at that time lets be where we're supposed to be)
- touchy-feely (look...I want to get physical as much as the next girl, but the time for that isn't five minutes into the first date; please respect personal space!)

I'll assume you're talking about first date, because expectations change the longer you date someone.

So in the case, refusal to split the bill is a deal breaker.

Someone talking about their ex in every conversation

It's not one thing. I think you just know when it's not going to work.

Being on their phone.

Constant attention to their phone

poor hygiene, foul mouth out loud in public.obnoxious behavior

If they smoke.

Excessive drinking

When your date asks to take YOUR leftovers home. (truestory)

having to make a date in the first place.

coming back to the table from the Ladies room to find them gone...BIG deal breaker!!

they hid a pint in their purse...

Bringing her whole family along for a free meal.
If she gives me a heads up then I would cook the meal.
