16 years old dating a 24 year old?

I am much older now..kinda 18, but a while ago when I was 16, I had dated a guy that was 24...Now it was all sweet and the relationship did last about a year. In the time we were dating, we recieved MANY rude comments. I would like to ask what everybody's opinion is on this. Is Age really a number???

Yeah when you're 24 and dating a minor. I understand your side it's his side I don't get and sends up a lot of RED FLAGS

Oh thats a good point. There is no denying that some men are preditors of young girls...but its not for every guy out there.

True, but better to wait until they're 18. I get it love is love but 16 to 24 too weird. I'm not saying that I would've turned down an older teacher when I was 16. Or even my friends mom.
