Compromise. Communicate. Be a team . Don't share intimate or private details of your marriage with others. Spend quality time together. Pick your battles wisely. Support each other emotionally. Love each other deeply. Show loving actions every day in small ways.

Don't expect to be able to meet 100% of each other's needs. That is unrealistic, and puts inordinate pressure on each of you. Be open-minded to creative and out-of-the-box alternatives.
