What does a gift mean to you ladies?

If your boyfriend gave you a king size of your favorite chocolate for Valentine's. Does that say anything about how he feels? Because I did the same, plus a balloon, his favorite drinks, a card, and all decorated as well. So I felt a little unappreciated when it got compared to the flowers, stuffed animals, and even my own gift that has been recieved. Although I did thank him and appreciate the big recess bar, I just can't help but overthink the simple gift.

Gifts are just that, gifts. I never care about who gives what and what does it mean, etc.
It is really the thought behind it. Just the fact that someone went out of their way to get something or do something for me is quite enough!
My husband bought us steaks for Valentine's Day and cooked them up for dinner and I felt like the luckiest woman alive! 😍😋
