Why can't I forget about my ex?

It's been three years since we split, I have no contact with her and don't want anything to do with her but I keep getting reoccurring thoughts about her and it's doing my head in 😡

Everyone that we encounter in life serves as teacher or student. It's my belief that people who keep reoccuring in our lives are there because we have not learned a valuable lesson that will enable us to move on.
