Is there an age where you become too old to politely ask strangers for their phone number or other socials?

I just did it last week and I’m 55, don’t see myself stopping

I've had middle-age men ask me for my number.

I think marital status should be considered before age.

Depending on the age group it's ask for their gram instead.

People ask for socials all the time and that's fine. But if you're asking for digits then we are not on the same page at all. Those are classified top secret.

I'd say after 40 it has gotten a little immature. But that might just be generational.

I could never imagine doing a thing like that haha, but that's not related to age, that's just the social norms I grew up with.

Why would you ask strangers for private information. That's inappropriate for any age.
