Have you ever been upset by someone else's break-up?

It just seemed like they were perfect for each other 🥲 They were together for almost four years too. It's like, if their relationship can fail, then how could I ever expect to be in one that lasts? It's just too sad. 😓

They were like my comfort couple. And it's weird because both of them are my friends too, so that's the end of hanging out with both of them together, I guess. I don't think the break-up was nasty in any way, but things are already awkward and it's only been a few days.

I knew something was up when I saw that photos of them together had been deleted off his Instagram... 😩

I understand your point. Some couples seem destined to remain devoted and it can feel like a personal tragedy when they break up, like something has torn in the fabric of the universe. It's like when a favourite sportsman dies who you remember from your youth. They seem eternally young and athletic, but then old age or illness takes them and you realise they weren't young anymore and it's a reminder of your own mortality. But you're perhaps too young to experience that feeling yet.

Yes. When I was in my 20s, my best friend and her bf broke up and when the ex bf told me the news, I cried. He was so confused lol
