Was it the right choice to stop talking to her and walk away?

The way of how I felt when she revealed that she is Engaged made me upset. I literally thought we had something in common in terms of the conversations we enjoyed having. Anyways, I feel like it wasn't the right choice to make. I really believe that she knows why I stopped talking and walking away.

People don't normally get engaged overnight. Whatever was happening had been happening.
If you keep talking to her, to what end? Doesn't sound like you want to be friends.

The Friendship with her has come to a complete close because I chose to. Selfish or not, I don't care anymore.

@Bastoche: I'm not doing it to get a response from her, I'm doing it because I choose to and more importantly, I want nothing to do with her. Now, if she comes up to me and asks me Why I'm not talking to her (if she does, but I doubt it) then I will tell her Honestly. It's the only way that she understands and even me.
