How do you signal your partner when you want sex? And feel offended when turned down?

I think both genders are different. Men are always vocal and or direct but most women are indirect and rarely initiate or advance is that true? And i think the reason they dont is the fear of rejection, is that true?

Both Cowboy and I have a very high sex drive we both initiate a lot and I’ve only been turned completely down once because I was too drunk to give proper consent
That being said if one of us are busy we have no issue taking care of it ourselves…

And for them the one the hire drive becomes just needy, all that person is sex sex etc.
