Has anyone ever been in a long distance relationship before?

I live 2 1/2 hours from my boyfriend, and it's honestly pretty hard. Even though we go to the same college, its difficult when we have breaks because we go from seeing each other everyday to now going on a month without seeing him.

I was involved in a relationship with a girl that lived about 900 miles away, for 18 months. That was before Skype. It was tough.

It was. Usually our visits together were for extended time periods. A week to ten or twelve days.
