Why don't people go out more?

Instead of typing on their phone or gaming. They complain they don't have a partner but won't go out to find one.

Got a buddy that sometimes admits he feels lonely, but after what he's been through, he's content without risking it again. Some people just get too damaged, and that desire for a partner just ain't strong enough.
