My Girlfriend Said I'm Not Manly

I saw an interesting post on another forum, I've copied and pasted it below. What would you guys do if your woman called you unmanly?

"The other day, my girlfriend said, "you're not exactly a fully grown man," and I'm not sure how to take it. She also said that my friends who are the same age as me are men and refering I wasn't. I think she meant it in both ways, as face value and that I am skinny and not bulky or tall.

I don't care what others have to say but when it comes from my girlfriend I do care and to be honest with you it did hurt a bit because I always thought she saw me as a man or a bit manly. I know I don't compare to the hollywood movie male models but I don't act like a girl or do girly stuff and I like the same things as my mates.

Also a note to add - why did she think my friends are 'men' but I'm not. Without sounding harsh, ones about the same height as me but fat and my other mate is alittle bigger than me and taller. Also she mentioned that my other mate could beat me in a fight so that could be another reason. (obviously, we have no beef or want to fight, we get on well)."

I think you should sit down with your gf and ask her to discuss this. If she is your partner, you should know why she says such things. We do not know either of you. We are not mind readers. I would feel disrespected and insulted if I were you. Communication is essential in relationships. Learn this early. Then tell us what happened. Good luck.
@PoetryNEmotion Don't tell us what happened.
@Dignaga I want to know. You don't have to. Christ.
@PoetryNEmotion She's gonna eventually cuck him and break up with him. She already made the evaluation of his relative worth, and felt he was low valued enough to let him know it and feel confident he would stick around.

Besides, the OP said it was a post found on another site. We won't ever know.
@Dignaga Oh, do you know either of them in person? I say no. You must have trust issues. Adios.

@PoetryNEmotion Love your reply, great answer this should be a Best Comment if I could pick it

@Dignaga No. Incorrect. Your jaded views are yours alone. Now run along and play elsewhere.
