My Girlfriend Said I'm Not Manly
I saw an interesting post on another forum, I've copied and pasted it below. What would you guys do if your woman called you unmanly?
"The other day, my girlfriend said, "you're not exactly a fully grown man," and I'm not sure how to take it. She also said that my friends who are the same age as me are men and refering I wasn't. I think she meant it in both ways, as face value and that I am skinny and not bulky or tall.
I don't care what others have to say but when it comes from my girlfriend I do care and to be honest with you it did hurt a bit because I always thought she saw me as a man or a bit manly. I know I don't compare to the hollywood movie male models but I don't act like a girl or do girly stuff and I like the same things as my mates.
Also a note to add - why did she think my friends are 'men' but I'm not. Without sounding harsh, ones about the same height as me but fat and my other mate is alittle bigger than me and taller. Also she mentioned that my other mate could beat me in a fight so that could be another reason. (obviously, we have no beef or want to fight, we get on well)."
