Do adult relationships of any sort make you happy ?
Note I specifically said 'any sort' since there's no one clear way to define what 'adult relationship' means.
From my own experience, it depends. My children - yes they make me happy. But for every other aspect, no I feel totally let down, unfulfilled and very underwhelmed as the sex and intimacy side is all people look at they never want to try and 'get you' and understand who/what you are.
So I'm both happy and sad when I think about my adult relationship experiences.
