I rejected someone who acted having serious feelings for me but ended up forcing myself to be married to him, have two kids and then he said goodbye with excuses to not look small in the public. I got my final judgement of divorce this April 26, thank goodness.
Don’t regret ever rejecting anyone who probably would have had motives like the one who lied about his feelings.

@nursedawn87 Wow. Thanks goodness it's over it sounds like.

Yes and it was hard at first but he made it easier by stalking me and leaving nasty messages on my voicemail in the middle of the night.

The most recent one has been the hardest, I really opened up to him and let my walls down and let him the closest I’ve ever let any man. But it’s not going to work out so I had to end it and it’s horrible.

A few times. Mostly because I don't take it seriously for the most part. People see my appearance and become infatuated. It's hard for me to tell when someone wants me for other reasons besides my body so I have rejected even the ones who pursued me heavily.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Yes, he told me he loved me and I told him to get out of my house

That's why I send memes, not selfies! I want you to laugh, not fall in love!
ChampagneOnIce · 51-55, F
Yes, a few times. Some were harder to let down than others.
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
Yeah. It hurt me to do it, but it had to be done. 💔
Bklynbadboy12 · 31-35, M
@ImpeccablyImperfect Can i ask why it had to be done
Kae20 · 56-60, FVIP
YES Unfortunately... I believe most women have 🤷
I personally never found it difficult but I know a couple people who take that sorta stuff way too intensely. They suffer more I wanna say they the person they shutting down. The fact they hurting someone’s emotions or something like that 🤔

Unfortunately yes.. and as much as I try to stick around and just be friends .. it always ends up with both of us getting our feelings hurt .. I lose a friend and they have to burn a bridge with me

Seemed to happen passively, as I've let time pass until I'd have a grade and a job. As soon as I had a temporary job, she seemingly expected me to ask her out, before she tried making me jealous 🤷
Yes … never was easy … I said stupid things not to hurt them… they got even more hurt, realizing that my silly excuses were made for not hurting them …
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Yes, because feelings are feelings and life is life and values and beliefs are greater influences in the lives of some than others.
I go out of my way to avoid hurting them. Making an effort to emphasize the problem is me, not them.
