Is it fishy for a 17 year old girl to wanna date a 14 year old boy?

My cousin is only 14 and got a date with a 17 year old high school senior girl.

For now it's okay but when she turns 18 and he is 15, and when she is 19 and he is 16, if she has sex with him she could jail. She better leave him alone until he is 18 and she is 22

@RadiantRuby I think they have “Romeo and Juliet” laws that allow people just over 18 to have sex with people just under 18.

I don't even consider anyone under 21 an adult. In some states you can't drink until your 21

@RadiantRuby That makes a certain sense to me. But even if one is not allowed to imbibe until 21, the person is allowed to enter into legal contracts at 18.

I didn't feel adult until then but maybe I could be slow 😉🙃
