Is it fishy for a 17 year old girl to wanna date a 14 year old boy?

My cousin is only 14 and got a date with a 17 year old high school senior girl.

I wouldn't say so. I dated a 19 year old when I was 13 and didn't have any problems

@Katie01 I dated a 14 year old when I was 18 but she wasn't a kid by any stretch. She was intelligent beyond her age and looked my age or older to all my friends and family. Lasted 11/2 years until I joined the military, then we drifted apart.
