A term people use to justify infidelity. It's okay if both parties fully consent but I get the impression it's often one sided and one in the relationship wants it more while the other just accepts.

I don't see much wrong with it. Yes, it is different from normality, but if it's not hurting anyone and doesn't affect the lives of others, then I don't see a reason why people can't be polygamists. And before someone makes this argument, no, polygamist is not just cheating. The idea behind a polyamorous relationship is that you have multiple partners, but every partner must be on the same page or it is still cheating. If you have a main partner you see before all others and you go out and meet knew people, you tell your partner. You don't have to tell them everything you do with other people, but you have to be honest and upfront about it.

I'm not entirely sure if I'm polyamorous or not. I have cheated on my ex boyfriend because I felt like I needed to have two people (and possibly more) to make me happy. I learned my mistake, and if I ever plan on being in an open relationship, I know that I still have to tell my partner who I'm going to be seeing. I know this type of relationship isn't everybody's cup of tea. And that's alright.

Consenting, everyone is happy, I see no problem. While it's not my thing, it doesn't mean that others willing are not allowed to partake.

Actually I wonder if there are only country in this world who allow men to have as much women as they want or if there are also countries who allow women to have as much husbands as they want... 🤔

It's messed up, especially when the welfare system is abused to provide for such selfish exploitation.

This confuses me..... what was the other... misogyny, right? which is the idea of only two people in a certain relationship, while polygamy is the idea of multiple people in said relationship?

In my eyes either way.. the fact that we have to have groups based off of opinions and genders, alongside race and groups in something like "love" should raise many questions.... as for age.. well that speaks for itself in many cases, though not all.

As for me personally... i could care less about what other people do... but if it's romantic in anyway... i just prefer to stay away from the couples who cant stay away from each other XD
