does it makes me less of a dom if i understand feelings?
i m a dominant guy but instead of starting with a firm hand i care abt the feelings of my subs does it makes me a bad dom???

not at all - I'd say it makes you a better one. Understanding feelings means you have insight to a sub's needs, an ability to empathize, and genuine care for the sub. These traits are important in a good D/s relationship so that trust can be built, a safe emotional space created where the sub can grow. If a D is in it without care or concern for the sub, they're just in it for power and their own selfish wants.
