I have had women suggest we go out sometime, so I don't know it that counts. And I would if I liked them or wasn't dating someone.

Yes.

I'll admit it is something of an ego boost to be asked.
It also gets you to see that person in perhaps a slightly different light.

It tells you that they were 'brave' enough to ask.
It tells you that for whatever reason, they're clearly interested in you.
And perhaps it gets us thinking; considering; wondering.
All good things for guys to do.
