Why do people have to lie on their dating profiles and waste my time?

Yeah, sometimes I think people didn't think that through.

Because when you meet them in person you will be overwhelmed by their wit, charm and amazing personality

I was chatting with a woman, whose profile said she's 5'-10". She's 5'-2". She insisted when we met she was 5'-10". Not that height was a deal breaker, but yes, why lie when it's obvious?

Happened to me. The dude first re assured me that he was normal 100 times. Then when I went to meet him... I'm standing there looking for him. All of a sudden some totally different guy aprroaches me. I'm like WTF who are you. Realized he sent me someone elses pic

I would rather downplay myself so when the see me in person they aren't dissapointed .

Because all those dating sites are nothing but fakes and scammers now need to go back to the old ways
