Im getting mixed signals

So I started dating this guy about 2 weeks ago. We go out to dinner and go for a walk are first date. It lasted about 7 hours we really hit it off and he kept telling me how into me he is. We had the opportunity to meet a month ago but I felt like his communication was to slow. He took hours to reply to one message and I got disinterested then one day he hit me up on 3different social media platforms asking if I was still interested. Out first date was a few days after that. Anyways back to the story we have had 3 dates in total . He is always the one to initiate contact with me but once again it takes him awhile to reply. Yesterday we had a date and I got to meet his best friend and his dad. I didnt text him to tell him I made it home safely so when I woke up to a text asking if I made it safe. I replied and he asked how my day was going I also replied back and nothing. . . No reply that was like 10 hours ago. I know he always has his phone so why does he do this. Someone give me some insight please its driving me crazy.

This would come as a surprise to some but people have other things to do then to keep on the phone all day and wait for your messages to reply to....

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Yeah but if someone lives on their phone, then a prompt reply isn't unreasonable.

@CestManan A lot of people don't, they have responsibilities. I don't keep my phone's data on most times and only turn it on when I need to talk to someone, I do it to keep distractions away and to conserve battery. No one owes anyone anything, instead this person should have a proper adult conversation instead of playing mind games.
