Meet someone via a dating site and the response is positive.
Message back and forth for a little bit, then agree on an evening chat by phone after both of us are sorted out for the night, and 30 seconds into the conversation she says ' well I am going as we have nothing to talk about'...
That to me means 'rejection'. Make sense to others? At least the chat proved she's a real person and a real Australian person not some imposter which means there is at least one real Australian woman using that particular site. Anyway I'll just move on.
