Should I just give up?

I've been looking for a relationship but apparently no one is interested in someone who doesn't want kids and doesn't want to get married. A friend of my told me that If I don't want those things then I'm going to find it hard to find any one..., so is it a waste of my time to keep looking? I not about to go out looking for someone and get married and have kids just so that I can have someone. So, should I just give up the search?

You should never change your want's needs and desires to have a relationship.

I would suggest that you stop looking. Do things that interest you. Talk about who you are and what you want and stop listening to others who are trying to get you to be what you aren't. (Never take advice from someone who is not successful in the way you wish to be).

The person will one day walk into your life.
