Should I just give up?

I've been looking for a relationship but apparently no one is interested in someone who doesn't want kids and doesn't want to get married. A friend of my told me that If I don't want those things then I'm going to find it hard to find any one..., so is it a waste of my time to keep looking? I not about to go out looking for someone and get married and have kids just so that I can have someone. So, should I just give up the search?

Thank you! I don't feel I should just do those things I don't really want, just so that I can say I have some one. First off, it would not be fair to the child and second I would not be happy in a marriage

@Quietbeauty: OMG you shouldn't do things you don't want to do, period. you have very right to do things that you DO want to do! and no way is your friend correct. no way in hell!
