Would you rather be in a relationship or single?

I'm not sure if I want to be in a relationship or not. I'd like the emotional intimacy and affection but I think the idea of trusting and being vulnerable to somebody again is kinda terrifying.

I would LOVE to be in a relationship.
There are many advantages to being single, but I think the advantages of having a true, trusted companion, outweighs those.

I’ve been in a relationship a long time....but sometimes I miss the times when I was single, even though I wouldn’t want to be completely alone.

I don't "need" a relationship. Mine simply evolved into one. While I'm considerably older, I have more in common with Kevin than most folks my own age. We share most of the same ideas and values. Both have a very youthful affect and love being silly. Our lives are filled with laughter.

I'm single, I just miss having someone to be there for me no matter what.

I’d love to be in a good relationship. There would be no point in just being with anyone to avoid being alone. I’m long past that stage.

No emotional space for a relationship right now and although I get lonely sometimes, I know it's for the better, at least for now. I don't need to drag someone else down or be dragged down further myself. My prospects might be better when I'm in better shape myself.

I dont know. I just want a man who is handsome & obsessed with pleasing me. The rest will sort itself out.

I would rather be single, that's the desired state. And not so I could sleep around, I would rather be single just so I could be alone. Sweet sweet solitude

I would like to be single and have a companion but not a relationship. That would be the last thing that would be important to me at this stage of life.

Having been in a relationship for 27 years, and being single now, I miss being with someone.

The kind of relationship I want doesn't exist anymore, so in that case I'd rather be single. Mutual commitment, sacrifice, loyalty, monogamy, unconditional support and love.
Society is just too selfish and unwilling to put forth the effort that is required in every healthy relationship.
