A lot of men (Indian) be calling themselves "handsome" on dating sites
I wonder if they realize how narcissistic they sound or they've always lived in an echo chamber created by their mommies.

They could be trying to demonstrate their confidence - a lot of women say that they like their men to be confident.

@Azrael2 They do if they're reduced to trying to demonstrate it using written word to someone they've never spoken to before... and possibly never will. They only have this one shot.

@HootyTheNightOwl nah, confident people don't really care about demonstrating anything because you know... they're confident in themselves. Plus there's better ways to demonstrate confidence than calling yourself "handsome"
