How much difference in age would you be comfortable with for a long term relationship.

I find that if a woman I'd seven years older by the time she's 65 and you're still 58 there are issues. She wants to retire and travel and you still have nine more years to work. She also has little or no interest in being physically intimate anymore even though you spend most your free time together and get along great.

I am quite older than my girlfriend (more than 20 year difference) I imagine that one day she will leave me for someone younger (or I will encourage her to do so when i cannot make her happy anymore) and then I can retire from relationships and focus and cultivating peace of mind, travelling, gardening and meditation.

But to answer your question 7 years is comfortable, beyond that potential issues
I have a 20 year age gap in my marriage...
