probably decreased stress, and definitely more disposable income. some people might be happier procreating, and might find it stressful not having that in their life, though.

@SW-User the more I think about it, I think I'd be more happier not procreating.

@WendyLopez43 it's a really, really hard job, when done right, and it's super-expensive, as well. if you aren't wholly dedicated, it wouldn't be good for the kid/s. some people do it so they'll have someone around when they're old, but that's not always guaranteed. there's a lot of pride and joy with a family, but it's not the only route to those things.

@SW-User I don't hate kids, just the idea of having to do so much for them irks me. Food, school, birthdays, toys, sports possibly.

@WendyLopez43 it's a lot, yep. to have that kind of insight into yourself at your age is pretty sage. most people don't think this sort of thing through, and then biology takes over. kids are cool, but not everyone should make them.

@SW-User I know as a kid, I wanted as much freedom as possible when I grew up. I'm not completely free to do whatever I want, obviously, but as much as I can get seems good to me.

@WendyLopez43 you deserve to be happy, but it's up to you to make it happen. i hope you enjoy your life as much as possible. :)

@SW-User Thank you! Though I'm not sure why some people consider those who choose not to have kids as selfish, what's the logic behind that?

SW-User
@WendyLopez43 there's no logic to it. some people just like to judge. and in this case, some people who have kids are jealous of the freedom that comes with not having kids. i wouldn't pay them any mind, if i were you.
