What do you think about this?

My girlfriend is 20 and I'm 37 but I met her when she was 19
Do you find it creepy when someone who falls for a younger teenager and waits for them too reach legal age?
Here's an example https://mobile.twitter.com/channel5_tv/status/1132618639352377344

20 is still pretty young. I personally would wait until they are in mid 20s to do anything of sexual nature.

They are just not experienced enough to handle the responsibilities that comes with relationships and the risks or to evaluate them.

@Miram 25 is still rather immature. I think he should wait until she's 50.

@helenS This isn't a joking matter. Lives have be ruined because of this.

I have dated twice my age, and that is exactly why I would never agree with it.

@Miram Well, she's the first woman who made me love another woman for about 10 years. We got to know our personalities that we can guess what we're thinking. We haven't met offline but we want to me

@Wanrich5 what do you mean she made you love another woman for 10 years? I am not sure I understand.

When people value you, they will wait. Time won't be a problem. If it is lost, then it wasn't worth it to begin with.

I rather be with someone knowing 100 percent that their intellectual abilities match mine, I'd rather grow with them not mold them into what I'd want in a man or woman and that's my main concern with age gap relationships -25, there is usually a power dynamic where the younger one ends up being exploited

-25 should be focusing on building independent lives so they can be safer when relationships fall apart. People our age have already got their lives sorted and that can create a clash of interests. You know what I mean?

@Miram the last time I dated my ex dumped me by text,
I've seen many beautiful women on SW but I just can't stop loving her.
Mentally my mind is way younger than my physical age
In truth, one time she decided to date a guy closer to age, which I respected her wishes because she wasn't 2 timing me. We stayed in contact, her relationship failed and we got back together.

@Wanrich5

Oh, I see. How old she was when you dated and she broke up? Because when you say ten years that means this girl was 9.

Are you diagnosed with an intellectual disability, developmental disorder or neurological disorder, or is that just you describing yourself?
Wanrich5 · 41-45, M
@Miram no, the girl who broke up with me was a girl in her twenties like I was
Wanrich5 · 41-45, M
@Miram I had a heart op when i was a baby it must of messed up my brain with a lack of oxygen
Miram · 31-35, F
@Wanrich5

True, cerebral damage can occur with heart surgeries but you'd be surprised how much can be done to improve it with the right treatment.

You should certainly see a professional 🌹.

You have to keep at mind that no matter how young the woman you're dating , her abilities and needs will change. She won't always match yours and because of that age can't be treated as an advantage. It's not. Also no matter how old you personally think you are mentally, doesn't mean you're not in position where you'd dis-empower her.

It is good that you are waiting for her instead of pressuring into doing things she is not comfortable with. She's pretty young in my opinion.

@Miram even if it doesn't work out, we will be best friends.
